May is National Foster Care Month, observed in the United States every year in May. Established by President Ronald Reagan in 1988, Foster Care Month continues to be recognized and celebrated.
For 12 years I’ve been a Bark Busters trainer. For seven years, I’ve been a volunteer behavioral therapist at To Love a Canine (TLC) Rescue. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many dog foster families.
I’m excited to share with you, during this special month, and on Mother’s Day weekend, that I’m now, for the first time, also a foster dog parent!
